RUTLAND, Mass (WPRI) — A 46-year-old Attleboro man has died after his jet ski overturned in a Massachusetts pond Saturday.

The Rutland Police Department says they were called to Turkey Hill Pond around 4:30 p.m. after the operator of the jet ski had not resurfaced after the jet ski turned over in the water.

Witnesses told people the man appeared to be in distress before going under.

A dive team, several local fire departments and the Massachusetts State Police assisted in the search.

Around 8 p.m., police say the dive team located the body of the Attleboro man. His name has not yet been released.
