The Pine Bluff School District's 21st Century Community Learning Centers are featured on a federal website spotlighting subgrantees for the Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC program. The program is supported by the Office of Elementary & Secondary Education of the U.S. Department of Education. Wynne School Board approves kindergarten fencing, weapons detector; increases athletic meal rates
WYNNE — The Wynne School Board approved fencing for the kindergarten addition and the purchase of a weapons detector unit Monday night. Wynne Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Moore said he was concerned about students’ safety due to the proximity of the construction road and the nearby playground. The board agreed to add a fence, which will mostly enclose that playground. It will also tie into a fence at Wynne Intermediate School that was installed by the PTA.
