Auburn football has experienced several uncharacteristic seasons recently, but the magic of Jordan-Hare Stadium remains.

Auburn has not won more than six games in a season since 2019 but has played in several close games against challenging opponents in that timeframe. Last season alone, a pair of top-10 teams in Georgia and Alabama needed late-game heroics to escape the Plains with victories.

Ahead of the 2024 season, CBS Sports’ David Cobb ranked SEC stadiums based on home-field advantage . The home of the Tigers checks in at No. 5 on the list. Cobb says that Auburn’s lack of recent success has caused the home of the Tigers to be lower than expected, but Auburn’s strong play in front of the home crowd will keep Jordan-Hare Stadium near the top of such lists.

Auburn is just 12-10 at Jordan-Hare Stadium over the past three seasons after a series of close losses against top-15 foes Georgia, Alabama and Ole Miss last season. But Auburn is unmatched in its potential for miracles. Just consider that the “Prayer at Jordan-Hare” and the “Kick-Six” to beat Georgia and Alabama occurred in consecutive games during November of 2013.

Tiger Stadium ( LSU ), Bryant-Denny Stadium (Alabama), Ben Hill Griffin Stadium ( Florida ), and Neyland Stadium ( Tennessee ) rank higher than Jordan-Hare Stadium. Texas A&M ‘s Kyle Field, which received backlash by being named EA Sports’ toughest place to play in its upcoming College Football 25 video game, rests at No. 8 on Cobb’s rankings.
