Maine Art Gallery Members Show “Made in Maine”
(Wiscasset, ME) Works in painting, drawing, textiles, sculpture, photography, and assemblage by members of the Maine Art Gallery in Wiscasset will be on exhibit from July 25 through September 8. There will be an opening reception for this energetic and eclectic show on Saturday, July 27, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, with refreshments and music by singer/songwriter Katie Daggett.

The Boothbay 36ers are heading to the American Legion Baseball State Championship tournament. Two wins in the southern zone tournament action over Central Maine Hammond Lumber and Capital Area this weekend led to their finish as one of two southern zone teams qualifying for the state tournament. On July 22, Boothbay plays Skowhegan (8-6) at 5:30 p.m. in the southern zone championship game at Thomas College in Waterville.
