Bank robber apologizes to teller for traumatic experience, ordered to repay nearly $8,000
SAGINAW, MI — Though robbing a credit union netted a Saginaw man several thousand dollars in the short term, it also cost him his the next few years in prison. Stephan A. Belvin Jr., 23, on Thursday, July 25, appeared before Saginaw County Circuit Judge Darnell Jackson for sentencing, having pleaded guilty in June to bank robbery. Prosecutors did not dismiss any additional charges.
