Farm Team: Wood County 4-H and FFA Summer Showcase taking place throughout week
MINERAL WELLS — The Wood County 4-H and FFA Summer Showcase will be held from today through Saturday at the Wood County 4-H Camp on Butcher Bend Road in Mineral Wells. The Wood County 4-H and FFA Summer Showcase is open to the public today through Friday from 3-9 p.m. and Saturday will feature the Junior Livestock Sale at 12 p.m. and a concert at 7 p.m. by Sour Mash String Band. Craft and food vendors will be on site all week.
St. Marys moves up to Class AA after 9-win season
ST. MARYS, W.Va. — A new challenge awaits St. Marys after advancing to postseason play in ten of the last twelve seasons. The Blue Devils are one of several Little Kanawha Conference Schools moving up a level to Class AA. INDIANAPOLIS — Ivan Puskovitch and his West Virginia teammates got word around 5 p.m. on Thursday April 18 that their coach, Vic Riggs, was retiring.
