Slipknot 's Sid Wilson was injured in an apparent bonfire mishap over the weekend and has updated fans on his recovery. "I'm gonna be okay. No, it's not from a show, it's me out working on the farm," he explained. "It's not stinging so much anymore."

"I will say I do know better," Sid said while in transit to the hospital of the bonfire accident. "It was burnt from last night already, there were some leftovers, and I got a little — woosh — fire," he added. "Everyone out there, be really safe… [It's] something I've dealt with tons of times. Sometimes when you're a big brave man, that aspect of it can get in the way of rational thought."

In another post from the ambulance , Sid continued, "I had an explosion in my face... My face is burned, and my cheeks… I'm gonna be okay, but I did have some serious burns to my face and my arms." Adding, "You can see the phone is shaking — that's 'cuz I'm holding it and I am shaking. They're doing some X-rays on my chest right now to make sure I didn't inhale any flames."

"I'm gonna be all right, you guys," Wilson said optimistically. "I don't care what it takes, I will see you on tour."

Sid's wife, Kelly Osbourne , helped him out with another update for fans, showing the difficulties he's having with simple tasks, like shaving his now-healing face with a bandaged-up arm. "Shavin' burns," he says in the clip. "I look like a clown that got burnt up smoking a gas pipe. In case you're wondering, I'm supposed to shave every day."

Slipknot made mention of the accident on the band's Instagram page on Friday saying "Our brother Sid Wilson was in an accident today and sustained burns across his body. He's recovering with his family and will still join us on stage at Rocklahoma next weekend."

Slipknot is currently on the road on their Here Comes The Pain Tour , with the next stop in Pryor, OK at Rocklahoma on September 1. Take a look at their full itinerary and grab your tickets HERE .
