Jelly Roll surprises kids with $700 lemonade stand donation

Currently on the road on his expanded Beautifully Broken Tour , Country-crossover star Jelly Roll (real name Jason DeFord ) decided to drop by a kids’ lemonade stand while in Salt Lake City, turning the young proprietors’ day into a real wild one.

Of course, Jelly Roll couldn’t just grab a quick sip on the go – instead, he gifted the kids by emptying his pockets and forking over almost $700.

One of the mom’s accompanying the children documented the surprise visit on Facebook saying, “My kid and her cousins wanted to do a lemonade stand. And they had a famous singer come and buy some lemonade."

"Who would have thought that we would run into Jelly Roll in West Valley?," she added, "And for him to be so generous with giving them almost $700,” offering up a few photos as evidence.

Jelly Roll’s 2024 album Beautifully Broken , his follow-up to 2023’s Whitsitt Chapel , is set for release on October 11. Keeping with his giving spirit, all revenue from pre-sales through his website will go to several charities, including the Wounded Warriors Project, Folds of Honor, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and Shatterproof.
