Going down September 4, the Atlanta Braves will be hosting Ludacris Night at Truist Park. The evening game against the Colorado Rockies will see an opening pitch from Ludacris, as well as a Ludacris food truck, and Ludacris bobbleheads for the first 15,000 people through the doors.

While Luda claimed to not be nervous about the opening pitch, which he’s done before, the ATL rapper did note, “you know how that in the car, when you look in the mirror, it always says… objects in the mirror are closer than they appear. That damn mound is a lot further than it appears, I’m gonna be honest with you. So, you know, I don't know, I'm gonna make it do what it do, we gonna make it work.”

With Tigger noting “this sounds like a celebration of epic proportions.” Ludacris reminded the morning show host, “ Well, you know, Luda Day Weekend just passed,” adding that “since COVID, we kinda shut down… what we used to do in the past.”

“So now we just do a bunch of different festivities and this is one of them,” he continued. “So we always giving back to the community, giving back to the people and most importantly, giving back to Atlanta, Georgia.”
