Wednesday night's Atlanta Braves game against the Colorado Rockies was all about Ludacris. The team honored the hometown hero with a bobblehead night and a ceremonial first pitch.

After handing out Ludacris bobbleheads to the first 15,000 fans who showed up at Truist Park, the main event came when Luda hit the mound.
Led onto the field by mascot Blooper, Luda’s presence revealed he has a surprise up his sleeve, or rather on his arms. Showing out in massive prosthetic arms, oversized shoes, and a watch, looking like mega-swole Luda from his 2004 Spike Jonze-directed music video for “Get Back.”
In a video the ATL native shared catching the BIG moment, Luda seems to be having a blast stomping around in his vintage “Get Back” gear and No. 11 custom jersey. Walking up to the mound in incredibly oversized shoes and with the baseball velcroed to his big mitts, Luda impressively smoked one right down the middle.
In celebration, the Braves commemorated Luda’s long history with the team with a post including pics from previous pre-game concerts, Luda posing with an iced-out Braves 2021 World Series ring and championship trophy, as well as other happy moments with the squad over the years.
Ahead of his BIG appearance, Luda chopped it up with Audacy's Big Tigger Morning Show with Jazzy McBee at V-103 in Atlanta -- and while he didn’t allude to any of his larger-than-life plans, he did note, “You know how that in the car, when you look in the mirror, it always says… objects in the mirror are closer than they appear. That damn mound is a lot further than it appears, I’m gonna be honest with you. So, you know, I don't know, I'm gonna make it do what it do, we gonna make it work.”
Looks like Luda found the perfect solution.
