Taylor Swift and her pal Post Malone stepped into this year's ceremony with 10 nods and 9 nods respectively, leading the impressive pack of nominees which also includes Pop sensations Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande , as well as Hip-Hop icon Eminem , each with six nominations a piece. Additionally, this year's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award will be bestowed upon Pop icon Katy Perry .
