CAMDEN, N.J. -- Subaru of America, Inc. and the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) today announced the impressive impact of their partnership and celebrate the legacy of the Don't Feed the Landfills Initiative. In coordination with the National Park Service (NPS), and the National Park Foundation (NPF), Subaru and NPCA collaborated with many community partners to significantly reduce the amount of waste that national parks send to landfills. Since launching in 2015, the initiative has helped the National Park System eliminate 22 million pounds of waste through reduction, recycling, composting, and educational initiatives while engaging park visitors to lessen their environmental footprint.

Arts Programs Receive More Than $500,000 from State Council
Galloway, N.J. — The New Jersey State Council on the Arts recently awarded more than $500,000 to Stockton University to support arts programs. The grants include a record amount of $145,730 for the university’s Performing Arts Center, $56,030 for the Noyes Museum of Art at Stockton University and $300,000 for the co-sponsored “State of the Arts” television program that airs weekly on New Jersey Public Broadcasting Service. NJ woman sues Wawa after falling into dangerous hole
FLORENCE — A woman who says she fell into an open manhole in a Wawa parking lot has filed a lawsuit against the company. Courtney Barlow, 20, of Ewing, said she suffered permanent injury after the fall in the Route 130 store parking on Oct. 22, 2023, according to the lawsuit, which NJ.com first reported this week.
