With recreational marijuana sales getting closer via the Ohio Department of Cannabis Control issuing provisional licenses, recreational customers will be going to dispensaries for the first time. Medical marijuana dispensaries had to apply for dual-use licenses to be able to sell to recreational users, but there won’t be a lot of changes in their day-to-day operations. In Auglaize County, the only licensed dispensary is Verilife in Wapakoneta.
Waynesfield woman sentenced to prison for assault
WAPAKONETA — A Waynesfield woman was sentenced to four to six years in prison Wednesday in the Auglaize County Common Pleas Court for felonious assault. Janine Little, 59, pleaded guilty to the assault charge, a second-degree felony, during a prior change-of-plea hearing. Prosecutors agreed to dismiss an attempted murder charge in exchange for Little’s plea.

According to online records, 54 year old Freddie Hardin of St Marys was arrested Thursday night on a 5th degree felony charge of possession of drugs and a 2nd degree felony charge of possessing criminal tools. Hardin, who has an extensive prior record in Auglaize County, was taken to the Auglaize County jail and subsequently released. A court date for Hardin has not been set.
