One of the area's biggest festivals is seeing another change in location.

This year's Arts in the Heart of Augusta will be back on Broad Street, according to a news release from spokesperson Rhian Swain. It was announced in March that the festival was to be moved to Telfair Street due to road construction on Broad. However, that work has been delayed until 2025.

More than 150 juried fine arts and crafts artists are slated for this year's Arts in the Heart in addition to five stages showcasing various live entertainment. Among the major acts are Grammy-nominated jazz artist Georgia Muldrow on Friday evening and a platinum-recording rock band called Fastball on Saturday evening.

The Global Food Village will be returning with 20 booths offering multicultural cuisine including China, Cyprus, Greece, Germany, India, Ireland, France, Italy, Laos, South Sudan, Sudan, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Lebanon, Trinidad, Philippines, Latin America, Jamaica and the Pacific Islanders.
