S.T.O.P. Mobile Farmers Market providing locally fresh produce for CSRA

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Local farmers are providing fresh produce for residents of the CSRA.

The S.T.O.P. Mobile Farmers Market is a new initiative, designed to connect local farmers with new customers, reduce food waste, and make farm-fresh produce available throughout the Augusta area.

“The S.T.O.P. is more than just a place to buy food; it’s a way to build community and ensure everyone has access to nutritious meals. We want our residents to feel connected to their food sources and to each other. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to health and wellness,” says C. Joy Brown of the South Augusta Farmers Market.

The S.T.O.P. Mobile Farmers Market schedule is as follows:

• July 20th, 10 A.M. -2 P.M., Canterbury Farms, 30809
• July 26th, 11A.M. – 2 P.M., 535 Telfair Street, 30901
