Augusta Aquatics Center to close for scheduled maintenance next week

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Augusta Aquatics Center will be closed Monday, Aug. 4 through Saturday, Aug. 10 for its annual scheduled maintenance.

According to the City of Augusta, the annual maintenance consisting of inspections, repairs and routine cleaning helps to ensure the longevity, safety and optimal performance of the facility.

“By investing in annual maintenance, the Recreation and Parks Department can extend the lifespan of Augusta’s facilities, reduce costly emergency repairs, and protect the health and well-being of patrons,” a press release from the city stated.
