Drought continues to fade away in Missouri

The latest drought monitor shows only one small abnormally dry area, covering portions of Newton, Jasper, Barry, and Lawrence counties in the southwest part of the state. An abnormally dry area that covered extreme southern Barry County last week is gone thanks to recent rainfall.
