First Alert Weather: Storms continue on Tuesday, but not as widespread
WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Storms will continue to pass through during the morning commute. No severe weather is expected, but a few downpours will be possible. Best chance for rain Tuesday morning will be if you live either south of Highway 29 or east of I-39. Rainfall will mostly cease later in the morning hours before more storms flare up during the afternoon. Odds are, the afternoon storms will flare up around or east of I-39. Just like Monday, these storms are not expected to be severe, but they could feature some downpours and strong wind gusts. Rain chances get lower the further northwest you live of Wausau. With storms being more isolated, rainfall should be lighter for most of us on Tuesday. There is no guarantee you will stay fully dry though.
