Woman Behind Bars After Allegedly Stealing Car, Prompting Police Pursuit
A woman is in the Weld County Jail after police say she stole another woman’s car — throwing her out of her own vehicle — before driving more than 50 mph over the speed limit and leading police on a chase through an elementary school playground earlier this month. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports police arrested 40-year-old Heather Wallace eventually drove north in the southbound lane out of Pierce, and crashed into a field in the 400 block of Fifth Street in Nunn. Police took Wallace into custody after the crash.

UNC Adopts Clear Bag Policy For Athletic Events
If you attend any athletic events at The University of Northern Colorado this fall, there will be a clear bag policy in effect for Nottingham Stadium and Bank of Colorado Arena. According to the Greeley Tribune, clear bags may not be larger than 12 inches high x 6 inches deep x 12 inches across, and 12 x 12-inches when flat. One-gallon plastic storages bags are also approved under the new policy, as well as a 14 by 17-inch clear drawstring bag. Also allowed: clutch bags 4.6 by 6.5 inches and seat cushions under 18 by 18 inches without pockets or zippers.
