Bighorn sheep lottery application deadline approaching
LINCOLN, Neb. (KNOP) - The deadline to win a once in a lifetime opportunity to take a full curl ram is quickly approaching. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2. The winner will get to spend up to four days and four nights at Fort Robinson State Park. Lodging, meals and a guided tour are included. The cost is $29. Only Nebraska residents are eligible to apply.

City of Storm Lake Makes Mandatory Water Conservation Adjustments
The City of Storm Lake has made adjustments to its Mandatory Water Conservation measures. The adjustments are due to the failure of one of the City’s water wells, which has temporarily impacted the water supply. While efforts are being made to repair that well, another well that had been retired will be temporarily returned to service. A new City well in Frank Starr Park is scheduled to go into service later this year.
