    Crash involving motorcycle in Aurora sends pedestrian to hospital

    DENVER (KDVR) — A motorcycle and pedestrian were involved in a crash in Aurora on Sunday.

    Aurora police reported the crash at about 11:20 a.m., which closed the eastbound lanes of Alameda Parkway between Havana Street and Ironton Street.

    The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries, but the pedestrian was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

    The roadway reopened at about 12:25 p.m., and traffic investigators will continue reconstructing the scene to understand the factors leading to the crash.
