Red, White & Boom Celebration—Thursday, July 4, at Olcott Park. Bring your own chair or a blanket. Parade July 4 at 10 a.m. Line-up 9 a.m. on Sturgeon Road. Pre-registration applications are available at the Side Lake Store, CC Campground and online at sidelake.org/events. Saturday, July 6, FIRECRACKER 5K walk/run. Register online at www.sidelake.org/events until 8:30 a.m. of race day. Start and finish at Bimbo’s Octagon. Packet pickup begins at 7 a.m. Cost is $30 for adults (18+) and $25 for children. Same day registration cost is $40 adult and $25 children. If you choose not to get t-shirt, the price is $15 less.
