Huskies Squash Dock Spiders, Retain Division Lead
DULUTH, Minn.- The Duluth Huskies have now won six of their last seven games following Sunday’s 4-3 win over the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders at Wade Stadium. Duluth’s first run came in the bottom of the third off the bat of Charlie Sutherland, who brought in Cardell Thibodeaux from third base. In the fourth, Cal Elvis electrified the crowd with a three-run home run, marking his first out-of-the-park hit as a member of the Huskies.

ROCHESTER, Minn. — People calling from southern Minnesota could soon start popping up on your phone under a new area code. Final preparations are underway for the rollout of the new 924 area code, which will overlap with the current 507 area code serving southern Minnesota, including communities like Rochester, Austin, Mankato, Winona and Worthington. It will be the first such "area code overlay" in Minnesota; previous area code changes in the state involved carving out a new geographic region from a previous area code.
