Police Seek Public's Help After Man Fatally Shot on Southeast 82nd Avenue in Portland
A man lost his life in a late-night shooting in Southeast Portland on Thursday, with the Portland police currently on the hunt for suspects and details surrounding the incident. According to KOIN, the occurrence prompted an 11:45 p.m. call to the authorities about a disturbance on Southeast 82nd Avenue, following which reports of gunfire and a victim emerged even before officers could reach the troublesome scene. Responding officers found the man, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, lifeless and without suspects in sight, and the investigation caused a stretch of Southeast 82nd Avenue to be closed from Southeast Ramona Street to Southeast Woodstock Boulevard.
