Man escapes Oregon prison, found 30 years later in Georgia with stolen identity
Authorities have captured Steven Craig Johnson, who escaped from an Oregon state prison nearly 30 years ago and assumed the identity of a deceased child. Johnson, 70, was arrested at an apartment complex in Macon, Georgia, on Tuesday by the US Marshals Service and its fugitive task forces. He had been living under the name William Cox since 2011.

Washington man charged with damaging energy facilities in Clackamas County
A Washington man who is accused of damaging two energy facilities in Clackamas County in 2022 was arraigned Tuesday in federal court in Portland. Zachary Rosenthal, 33, of Tacoma, was indicted on charges of intentionally damaging the Bonneville Power Administration's Ostrander Substation in Oregon City and the Portland General Electric's Sunnyside Substation in Clackamas with the aim of disrupting operations.

West Linn voters will decide in November whether to grant annual raises of $23,600 for the city's mayor and $11,000 for councilors.
