Police, good Samaritans and even the woman's son sprang into action, the daring rescue captured on video. </p><p> Police bodycam footage, recently released, shows a 12-year-old boy rushing to an officer. </p><p> "She's having a seizure! She's sunk! She's in the water, help her!" the boy says between gasping breaths while pointing in the direction of a small body of water. </p><nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate><p> Jonquetta Winbush had a seizure while driving along Highway 87 with her two children, according to Assistant Police Chief Jessie Romero. Daughter Bri-Asia, 16, and son Dwight, 12, were in the vehicle. Bri-Asia told the responding officer that she'd noticed her mother starting to have a seizure. The daughter got out of the vehicle and walked to the driver's side to put the car in park and help, but the doors had been locked. </p><p> Winbush's foot then slipped off the brake and hit the gas pedal, sending the vehicle across the highway and into the pond. Bri-Asia ran over to help her brother Dwight out of the car and told him to go find help. </p><p><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=4S96Sr_0v0UqmMb00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=4S96Sr_0v0UqmMb00" width="1920" height="1080" ></p><nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate><h2 class="presto-h2 wp-block-heading"> 'By the grace of God': Officer aids in rescue </h2><p> West Orange Officer Charles Cobb was monitoring traffic about 300 yards from the overpass when Dwight approached him. </p><p> "I happened to look up and I saw what appeared to be a child running down the middle of a seven-lane highway," Cobbs said later as he reflected on the incident. "And so I pulled out and went down to see what was going on." </p><p> "Is somebody in there?" Cobb called out. </p><p> "When you see a car in the water like that, I mean, you know something's got to be done right then. You know, the car was slowly sinking, so I immediately took my duty belt off," Cobb said before describing a brief exchange with Bri-Asia. "And I realized that the lady that the child was talking about was still in the car. So there was no time to waste." </p><nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate><p> Cobb got in the water but quickly realized the vehicle's doors were locked. He retrieved a window punch from his patrol car. Two workers from a local plant, Epi Munguia and Corey Bull, joined the officer in attempts to break the window. </p><p> "It's just by the grace of God that all of us were there, they were willing to help, and we all working together were able to get her out," Cobb said. </p><p> The officer immediately began CPR. After a few minutes with both children standing nearby, Cobb worried about the outcome — until Winbush started gasping. </p><p> "Whenever she finally took that first gasp of air it was just a giant relief because I was really worried with her children being there." </p><h2 class="presto-h2 wp-block-heading"> 'We're family now': Officer recognized for pond rescue </h2><nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate><p> Officer Cobb's dedication didn't stop at the scene, however. He also visited Winbush as she received medical attention.
