The SEC-opening showdown between No. 8 Texas volleyball (5-3) and Texas A&M (10-1) at Reed Arena in College Staion has been moved to 6 p.m. Friday, the SEC announced Friday afternoon.

The match had been scheduled for 6:30 p.m., but conference officials moved the match up by 30 minutes in order to accommodate its broadcast scheduling on the SEC Network. The previously scheduled programming at 6 p.m. has been postponed as Hurricane Helene continues to wreak havoc on the Gulf Coast.
