Chappell Roan 'currently still scheduled' to play ACL Fest after canceling All Things Go

Pop superstar Chappell Roan is currently still slated to play Austin City Limits Music Festival this year.

The singer pulled out of her performances at the All Things Go fest this Saturday in New York and Sunday in Washington, D.C. on Friday. “Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks and I am really feeling it," the artist aka Kayleigh Rose Amstutz said on Instagram .

Chappell Roan remains scheduled for both weekends of ACL Fest

Chappell Roan is expected to perform both Sundays of ACL Fest on the American Express stage beginning at 6:45 p.m., right before Tyler, the Creator closes out the night in the same spot.

Roan has recently spoken out about the difficulty of her sudden rise to fame and pressure to endorse a political candidate ahead of the upcoming Presidential election. She recently told The Guardian , that she doesn't "feel pressure to endorse someone" because "there's problems on both sides" of the political divide.

After facing heat about her comments online, Chappell Roan clarified that she is voting for Kamala Harris , but she is choosing not to endorse and attach her name and project to a party.

She has consistently spoken out about the immense pressures of fame and the unanticipated drawbacks. “I feel pressures to prioritize a lot of things right now and I need a few days to prioritize my health," she shared via Insta stories. "I want to be present when I perform and give the best shows possible. Thank you for understanding. Be back soon xox.”

"We are aware that Chappell Roan has elected to prioritize her health and take a few days off from her touring schedule this weekend," a representative from ACL Fest told the Statesman. "She is currently still scheduled to perform at ACL Festival."
