The Dallas Cowboys' 20-15 win over the New York Giants last Thursday came at a steep price.
Defensive ends Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence each left the field after suffering an injury during the game. Afterwards, Parsons was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain that will cause him to miss the next two games and sit through the Week 7 bye at the very least. Lawrence is headed to the injured reserve with a Lisfranc injury that could cause him to miss the next four-to-eight weeks.
Dallas quickly went to work adding pieces to supplement the battered defensive line, signing KJ Henry from the Bengals' practice squad. He'll join Marshawn Kneeland, Chauncey Golston and Carl Lawson in the rotation at edge.

Amid all of their issues, the Cowboys are still looking for solutions at running back. They rank 32nd in the league in rush yards per game, averaging 75.3. Former Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook still sits on their practice squad, waiting to be activated.
That means the burden of the offense rests in the hands of Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. He and CeeDee Lamb rediscovered their connection vs. the Giants, with the receiver catching seven balls for 98 yards and a touchdown. Next up will be the Pittsburgh Steelers , led by quarterback Justin Fields and a defense that's allowing 13.3 points per game, the second fewest in the league.
