Singer Stephen Sanchez cancels Friday's ACL Fest set after losing his voice

Austin City Limits Music Festival just announced that Stephen Sanchez is unable to perform this afternoon on the T-Mobile Stage at 5:30 p.m. The Nashville-based singer took to social media, apologizing to fans for the abrupt cancellation.

"ACL, I woke up this morning incredibly ill and and with my voice entirely gone. As excited as I was to see you all today, I'm unable to perform," Sanchez posted on his Instagram story. "I apologize dearly and hope to make it up in the future. Thank you for understanding."

ACL Fest also notified fest attendees of the last-minute lineup change at 2:35 p.m. "Unfortunately, Stephen Sanchez will no longer be able to perform. The Paper Kites will now perform at 5:30 p.m. at the T-Mobile Stage."
