Texas football's annual matchup with Oklahoma ended with Texas laying a 34-3 beatdown on its neighbors north of the river.
The Longhorns , ranked No. 1 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, haven't faced a significant challenge. But that's soon to change, with No. 4-ranked Georgia visiting Darrell K Royal Memorial Stadium on Saturday in one of the season's biggest matchups.
Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers returned from injury last week and looked a bit shaky, throwing for 199 yards, a touchdown and an interception on 20-of-29 passing. He and Georgia quarterback Carson Beck are on the outside of the Heisman Trophy race, and Saturday's results could effectively eliminate the losing player from the discussion.

One of college football's powerhouses, Georgia has looked fallible this year after losing to Alabama and scraping out a 13-12 win over Kentucky. This past week, Georgia beat Mississippi State 41-31, while Texas defeated the same team 35-13.
