City of Austin to spray for mosquitoes

The City of Austin will be spraying for mosquitoes on the following dates:

• Monday June 24

• Monday July 1

These dates are tentative due to weather conditions, as wind and rain have the greatest impact to scheduling.

This will be a ground application. Spraying will start after 7 p.m. and will continue throughout the night. The chemical that is used is not harmful to humans, animals, or plants. The spray is designed to target the adult mosquito.
