Kelsea Ballerini returning to host the '2024 CMT Music Awards'

Kelsea Ballerini will return as host for the 2024 CMT Music Awards taking place April 7 at Texas’ Moody Center in Austin and airing live on CBS.

While it will be Ballerini’s fourth consecutive year hosting the awards, it will mark her first time as a solo host after tag teaming duties with Kane Brown in 2021 and 2023 and joining remotely in 2022.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be back for my 4th year with my CMT family to host this year’s CMT Music awards in Austin, TX,” Ballerini shared. “Hosting an awards show that celebrates the music that the fans love most has been an honor and I know this year will be another unforgettable night.”

Hosting duties won’t be the only reason Ballerini takes the stage at the Moody Center, the four-time GRAMMY-nominee is also scheduled to perform at the fan-voted award show. More performers, presenters and the nominees are scheduled to be revealed in the coming weeks.

The 2024 CMT Music Awards will air live from Austin, Texas on Sunday, April 7th (8PM ET/ PT) on CBS. It will also be available to stream live and on-demand via Paramount+.

Ahead of her appearance at the CMT Awards, fans can catch Kelsea as she takes the stage for Audacy’s fourth annual Leading Ladies event taking place March 20 at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre. Presented by Olay, the one-of-a-kind event is centered around uplifting women’s voices, triumphs, and stories and will feature performances by Kelsea alongside Meghan Trainor , Elle King , Christina Perri , and more.
