Spread & Co. Opening Cherrywood Spot

According to recent reporting in Eater, Spread & Co. will be opening its new location in Cherrywood at 2406 Manor Road, Suite B, entering the former home of Lola’s Donuts.

The new Spread will function as a “cheese and coffee shop with daytime food like sandwiches for breakfast and lunch, pastries, salads, and snacks. There will be to-go foods like wrapped cheeses, cheese boards, and house-made items like jams, pickles, cookie dough, and bread. The new space will offer more wines, aperitifs, and nonalcoholic drinks, along with beer. It’ll also sell vintage serveware,” Eater states.

Eager diners and neighbors should note that it will have a pickup window on top of a casual indoor space for dining in.

“Rosemary started SPREAD & CO. back in 2016 – stemming from her love of making homemade jams and pickles and pairing them with cheeses at home. Originally the plan was to take those passions and start a food truck serving picnic boxes, along with the house-made preserves, but between that seed of an idea and after being inspired by the “grazing platter” scene in Australia, the company evolved into a combination of the concepts!” the official website states.

“Her husband, Austin, joined in at the beginning of 2019 and now they make a very well-rounded team between their hospitality backgrounds (Austin being a chef + baker, and Rosemary having experience in the natural CPG food world + restaurant management).”

“The Spread & Co. brick and mortar opened in October 2019 at Jefferson Square on 38th Street. The second satellite location opened in February of 2021 at The Contemporary Laguna Gloria.”

While no opening date has been set, the new Spread will be up and running by early fall of 2024, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
