    Crews put out semi-truck fire on Ohio Turnpike in Austintown

    AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Ohio State Highway Patrol says crews were on scene after a fire fully engulfed a semi-truck on the Ohio Turnpike.

    It happened around 6:15 p.m. on the westbound lane of the turnpike by the intersection of Kirk and Turner roads in Austintown.

    No one was injured.

    Traffic was temporarily stopped but the westbound lane is now open.
