AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A pair of local sisters are putting together a celebration of life fundraiser for their sister this Saturday in Austintown.

Last year, Jen Costello lost her battle and took her life after her son in 2022.

“This isn’t something that we just get over,” said Maggie Conce, Costello’s sister. “This is a daily struggle and we want to bring out more awareness for our veterans, for our families and help them in any way that we can.”

Costello was also heavily involved in 22 Too Many, an organization aimed at reducing military suicide, and Adopt a Soldier. Saturday’s event will raise money for both groups.

The event starts at 1 p.m. at Fabulous Times Bar on Connecticut Avenue in Austintown.

There’s a $10 cover that will pay for your food. There will also be a cash bar, raffle baskets, a 50/50 raffle, bocce, pool, darts and a corn hole tournament.
