Meet Goldie, the PAHS Pet of the Week
Goldie is a 4-year-old female Chihuahua mix who must be spayed before adoption. She was found as a stray out in the county and no owner came looking for her. Goldie is white with black markings; and she only weighs 9 pounds. She is a friendly little gal who gets along well with other dogs. Juvenile injured during gunfire incident in Montgomery neighborhood
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Montgomery police say a disturbance on Rosa L. Parks Avenue Monday afternoon left a 13-year-old boy hurt, but not seriously. A police spokeswoman said officers responded to a shooting call at about 1:15 p.m. Officers found that the boy sustained minor injuries as a result of gunfire during the disturbance.
Historical Association to dedicate new marker at Paint Rock Valley School July 28
The July meeting of the Jackson County Historical Association will be held Sunday, July 28 at 2 p.m. at Paint Rock Valley High School in Princeton where they will dedicate a new historical marker recognizing the school years of Paint Rock Valley High School and hear about plans for the building from its administrator, Mike Sims.
