Former UK pitcher Travis Smith to transfer to Mississippi State
It has been an interesting two years for former Kentucky pitcher Travis Smith. The Walton-Verona High School (KY) product dreamed of wearing the Wildcat uniform for much of his life. The hard throwing right hander had the chance to do that in 2022, 2023, and 2024. His first season in Lexington served as a redshirt year as he recovered from surgery.
