An Atlantic County brewery will raise money for a rescue and rehabilitation center for displaced marine life next month. Hidden Sands Brewing Company is hosting a ticketed "Suds for Seals" fundraiser on Thursday, Aug. 15, in its Egg Harbor Township taproom. The evening benefits the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, the Brigantine nonprofit that cares for seals, sea turtles and other ocean animals in distress.

SPRING LAKE HEIGHTS — The Spring Lake Heights Board of Education (BOE) during its Monday, July 22 meeting introduced a policy that would ban electric bicycles (e-bikes) on school grounds throughout the year. BeiGene, an oncology company, announced on July 23, 2024 that it has opened a new biologics manufacturing facility at the Princeton West Innovation Campus in Hopewell, NJ. The facility represents the company’s flagship facility in the United States and also houses a clinical R&D center.
