A disturbed Indiana man broke into his coworker’s house in the middle of the night to perform an exorcism on her, according to police.

The Avon Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in progress around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday morning, with the caller telling dispatch that a man had broken into the home and was screaming.

When cops arrived, the victim told police from the front porch that her Chick-fil-A coworker, 38-year-old Robert Nalker, was inside the home, according to an arrest warrant obtained by Fox 59 .

Nalker was covered in blood when police yelled for him to come outside, and his Prius was still running in the driveway. He told police he was bleeding because he had to bust through a window in order to perform an exorcism.

While being taken into custody, Nalker, who drove to the house alone, repeatedly said that “she hasn’t been stabbed” and “she’s possessed,” police wrote in the warrant.

He also asked cops if they could go inside, find his CD and “play track number 3 to save her,” police said.

Nalker also screamed at police to not “look in his f—-king eyes.”

The victim said they had known Nalker for more than 20 years and they worked together at the fast food joint. Nalker had been sending bizarre text messages warning about “not listening to spotify,” they said.

Inside the house, police found a shattered window by the back door with a trail of blood from the window to the kitchen. On an island, they found a blood-covered CD and its case.

Nalker also allegedly destroyed the home’s entertainment and stereo system, police said. On a projector screen, he appeared to have attempted to start to write something in blood but only finished an “R.”

Nalker was taken by EMS to Hendricks Regional Hospital in Danville for a medical evaluation, and he was admitted after doctor’s determined he was mentally unstable.

He has not yet been formally arrested, however Avon police were granted a warrant to charge him  with felony residential entry, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
