Commissioners OK $1.4 million in construction at Lorain County Dog Kennel (UPDATED)

Time is running out to visit the Rainforest at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The last day to visit before it closes is September 9th. At that point, the rainforest will close for almost 2 years to be reimagined as Primate Forest. The Rainforest first opened in 1992 and after 32 years, the zoo feels it's time for a change.
