Edenton Announces Interim Police Chief
EDENTON – The Town of Edenton and the Edenton Police Department are pleased to announce that Mr. George Robinson has been named Interim Police Chief, effective Aug. 1, 2024. New Amazon facility opens in Fayetteville
The giant new Amazon Fulfillment Center near Fort Liberty is starting to show signs of life. The new Amazon facility opened in June in Fayetteville at 6309 Bragg Blvd. The 1.3 million-square-foot-facility located in the Military Business Park was supposed to open in 2023, but a representative from Amazon told WRAL News the delay won't stop the company in its plans to hire 1,000 employees at the site.
