After finally telling his side of the story in Netflix’s Untold series, it appears that Connor Stalions is preparing to become a member of the media.

During Thursday night’s episode of the Barstool College Football Show , Dan “Barstool Big Cat” Katz revealed that the disgraced ex-Michigan staffer is set to become an intern at Barstool Sports in the weeks ahead.

“Connor Stalions, I think he’s going to have an internship here starting in November,” Katz said.

    “Oh, awesome,” Dave Portnoy replied.

“Like, in the office?” host Kayce Smith followed up.

“He was like, ‘Once the high school football season’s done, I have a couple of months before I figure out my next move if you want me to intern,'” Katz continued. “I was like, ‘OK.'”

Portnoy proceeded to state that Stalions could aid his efforts to help Michigan land a top-10 quarterback recruit via NIL . Katz, meanwhile, shared that despite his intern status, college football’s most famous sign-stealer would be getting his own office at Barstool’s Chicago headquarters.

“I’m gonna black out one of the conference rooms and I’m gonna be like, ‘You can do whatever you want in here,'” Katz said to Brandon Walker’s apparent dismay.

While he may just be an intern, one would imagine that Stalions will be incorporated into Barstool content, especially with regard to college football. It’s also worth noting that the irreverent sports media brand was quick to embrace Stalions after he resigned from his role at Michigan amid the sign-stealing scandal that engulfed the Wolverines’ national championship-winning season a year ago.

Although he had largely remained a man of mystery at the time, the 28-year-old made multiple cameos in Barstool videos , including during one of Portnoy’s pizza reviews ahead of Michigan’s victory over rival Ohio State. In the time since, Stalions has become a more public-facing figure, with the most notable example being the Untold episode that Portnoy was featured — and allegedly misquoted — in.

Stalions also recently became the interim head coach at Mumford High School in Detroit , with the Mustangs currently laying claim to a 1-5 record after earning their first win of the season on Thursday night. In other words, it might not be the worst thing for him to consider his career alternatives, with his preexisting connections making Barstool an obvious fit.
