Crowd singalongs have been a prominent part of the NFL’s games in Europe. That happened again during Sunday’s game between the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings.

And Rich Eisen, calling the game on the NFL Network, got in on the fun.

The Vikings dominated much of the first half and took a 17-0 lead in the second quarter. When the game returned from a commercial break, NFL Network viewers heard Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back in Anger” playing on the PA system, with the fans in attendance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium singing right along. Oasis has been a trending band in the sports world since the news that brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher were reuniting. Eisen got in on the fun with a couple of dad jokes.

“Back in London, where the Vikings have been the wonder and the Jets have been the wall,” Eisen said. After Eisen and analyst Kurt Warner talked briefly about what was going on in the game, Eisen quipped, “If the Jets don’t score soon, some of their fans who flew all the way over here are going to look back in anger at their travel bill.”

Some might say that falling behind 17-0 in the first half was not in New York’s masterplan. Fortunately, for the Jets, they were not completely caught beneath the landslide. Aaron Rodgers led a scoring drive later in the second quarter. Little by little, the Jets got back into the game in the second half. They even had a chance to win at the end, but the comeback bid was thwarted by a Vikings team that had been standing on the shoulders of giants all season.
