Bravo reportedly developing Chiefs WAGs series

Behind the scenes in the sports world has expanded even more off the field.

According to PEOPLE , the reality television network Bravo is currently developing a reality show about the wives and girlfriends of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The better halves of athletes widely known as “WAGs,” the show potentially will include the fiancé of wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., Chariah Gordon, and defensive tackle Chris Jones’ girlfriend, Sheawana Weathersby.

Now, before you ask …

No, it wouldn’t appear that quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, and tight end Travis Kelce’s girlfriend (and legendary pop singer) Taylor Swift will be participating in the production.

In another report from PEOPLE , they cited a source who claims the two want to maintain privacy.

“Taylor and Brittany are not part of the show at all and will not even be filmed,” a source close to the pair exclusively told PEOPLE. “Taylor especially is very protective of what little private life she has left.”

The source added that while she enjoyed meeting all of the WAGs during this relationship, she will not be a part of the storyline.

Nevertheless, knowing how diehard Swifties are, there are guaranteed to be eyes on the show in hopes of letting an Easter egg or two slip.

This isn’t the first time Kelce’s turned down reality, either.

When Netflix approached him to be featured in Receiver, he declined — big time.

“I’m way over the reality sh*t, dude,” Kelce said in an interview with Barstool Sports’ Bussin’ with the Boys earlier this year. “I’m out on that sh*t.”

The WAGs show still needs a lot to be fully developed, but its main theme will be centered around Gordon and Weathersby’s friend group and how they’re navigating the world of being partners to athletes.
