Joe Buck's daughters sent Taylor Swift warning

Taylor Swift was in attendance Monday night when the Kansas City Chiefs held off the New Orleans Saints for a 26-13 victory.

Not only did the two-time defending Super Bowl champions improve to 5-0 on the season, but they improved to 13-3 in games that the pop superstar attends to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Naturally, ESPN put a camera on Swift multiple times during their Monday Night Football broadcast. While the guys over on ESPN2’s ManningCast got a little weird whenever Taylor showed up, ESPN’s Joe Buck tried to keep things on the level.

Especially since he got a talking-to from his daughters beforehand.

Late in the second quarter, the camera panned to Swift in her luxury box. Analyst Troy Aikman couldn’t help but mention it, referring to her as the “The missus.” Realizing that the comment might get some pushback akin to similar comments by Tony Romo last season, Buck interjected to make sure everyone knew Aikman was kidding.

“You know they’re not married?” asked Buck.

“I’m sure I’m in trouble for saying that,” responded Aikman with a chuckle.

“My daughters have warned me multiple times today, ‘Dad, I know you think you’re funny,” added Buck. “Don’t make any jokes.'”

Buck may have learned his lesson regarding how he discusses Swift, but he also made it clear he has no plans to shut up about Patrick Mahomes .
