Police: Couple "getting busy" before SUV rolled into Schuylkill River

A couple narrowly escaped tragedy after their SUV rolled into the Schuylkill River early Wednesday, an accident police believe happened while they were "getting busy" in the backseat, per NBC10 .

Driving the news: Police towed a Land Rover from the river Wednesday morning, with the help of diving teams.

The vehicle's owner said the SUV was accidentally shifted into gear while the couple was parked along the 1900 block of Kelly Drive, police tell Axios.
Police said the couple was unharmed after they escaped from the SUV and swam to land.
