What's next after capture for Boston's loose cattle "Moodini"

We know him as "Moodini" — the male cattle that escaped captivity and was wandering around Boston's outer neighborhoods since June.

Why it matters: The Hereford steer (so not a bull as previously thought) was finally captured last month in Roslindale, behind the American Legion Highway Walgreens.

• The steer was on his own for nearly two months.

Animal Contro l finally caught up to Moodini in an area filled with thick brush and got him into a pen for transportation to the MSPCA's Nevins Farm in Methuen.

What's next: The MSPCA needs to find someone with cattle experience to take in Moodini and give him a calmer life than what he had on the run.
