Halloween is just around the corner, and spooky-themed bars are in full swing around Charlotte. If you're looking for the "boo" in "boozy" here are six pop-ups to die for.
The vibe: The Optimist Hall cocktail bar has transformed into an eerie experience, complete with themed drinks, food and a mystery game.
Sip on this: The "Burned at the Stake" cocktail, with Bacardi, Queen Charlotte Reserve Rum, gran gala, strawberry and mango infused orgeat, lime and a strawberry fluff.
Stop by: The Season of the Witch will run through Oct. 31 at 1115 N Brevard St .

The vibe : A spooky speakeasy in South End with themed cocktails, mocktails, food and a live DJ on the weekends.
Sip on this: The "Nightmare Fuel" cocktail is made with tequila, mango liqueur, matcha, lime and Thai spice bitters ($16).
Stop by: Haunted runs daily from 5pm until midnight through Nov. 2 at 2433 South Blvd . (behind SouthBound).

The vibe: Spooky decorations, costume parties, and thirteen signature cocktails at this tropical-themed cocktail bar in the Belmont neighborhood.
Sip on this: The " Frankenstein," a tequila cocktail with lime, Apple Schnapps, Triple Sec, and tiki syrup.
Stop by: Haunted Hideaway runs through Nov. 1 at 933 Louise Ave .

The vibe: Expect a villains-themed tasting menu of cocktails and small plates, hosted in Supperland's speakeasy.
Sip on this: One stand-out pairing is "Jafar's Cup of Tea," a rich and aromatic cocktail paired with lamb ribs.
If you go: It's $160 per person and runs Thursday-Saturday at 6:30pm and 8:30pm through Nov. 2.

The vibe: The popular South End cocktail bar is going all out for spooky season with themed drinks and decor.
Sip on this: "Déjà Vu," made with Apple Butter Tito's Vodka, maple, lemon and saline ($15).
Stop by: Decor will be up through early November at 1440 S. Tryon St.

Sip on this: "The Sandworm," made with whipped cream vodka and Southern Star Double Shot bourbon cream liqueur ($14).
Stop by: It's open every Wednesday-Saturday from 6pm-11pm through the end of October at 3990 Charlotte Hwy, Lake Wylie .
