It's not just the participants. Even watching people run 26.2 miles can be exhausting.

Dig in: We've gathered a list of spots that are offering food and drink specials Sunday for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon runners and fans.

🍰 Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba! in Lincoln Park: Runners who show their medal or bib will receive a free dessert.

🤑 Mon Ami Gabi in Lincoln Park : Marathoners can receive a 26.2% discount on their meal today and tomorrow.

🍾 Pizzeria Portofino and RPM restaurants in River North: Runners can enjoy a complimentary Prosecco Toast by presenting their marathon bib or medal.

🍝 The Oakville Grill and Cellar : All marathon participants who show proof of registration or a medal will receive 50% off the featured pastas today.

☕️ Greektown : Fans can sip free coffee and Greek sweets at the corner of Gladys and Halsted streets. They can also make signs to cheer on runners.

🥐 Bar Pendry on Mag Mile: Hotel guests can get coffee, pastries and smoothies pre-race and runners, including those not staying at the hotel, can get a cold beer and Wagyu burger for $10.

🦪 Venteux on Mag Mile: Runners can get a free half-dozen oysters after showing their bib (seems wise for AFTER the race) and also get 50% off their meal.

🍽️ I/O Godfrey in River North: Brunch buffet for $49 and free medal engraving for runners. Fastest finishers could win a free night at the hotel.

🌮 Cruz Blanca in West Loop: A free beer and taco for runners and live music for spectators who haven't heard enough cowbell.

Good luck runners (if you're reading this pre-race) and way to go (if you're reading while icing your legs)!

Why do I have to sign up to continue reading for free? If it’s free why do I have to sign up? I’d rather pass…..
